Club information will be displayed on the COBA and BON sites.

Your personal information will not be public; it will only be used by the COBA executive or BON staff, as required.

Once a Club is affiliated with COBA & BON, individual players can purchase Badminton Ontario individual memberships to participate in BON sanctioned events. Please see https://www.badmintonontario.ca/membership/ for details.

Two types of Affiliation Memberships are available.

Option 1:

Affiliation Membership - Insurance Required:

Clubs that affiliate the COBA & require insurance must also sign up through Badminton Ontario's portal for Insured Affiliated Clubs at $7.00/individual in addition to the $75 COBA Affiliation Fee. The insurance certificate will be issued to the club through Badminton Ontario.

Insurance provided by BON includes general commercial liability for the club & sport accident coverage for individuals: (valid from Sept. 1, 2024 until August 31, 2025). Insurance summary/terms will be shared with the club when the documents are received from the insurance company.

Option 2:

Affiliation Membership - No Insurance Required:

This is a flat rate depending on the number of members the club has registered. Details: https://www.badmintonontario.ca/club-affiliation-program/

If a badminton camp is run as part of the club's badminton program, camp players are covered by this policy ONLY if the club is a BON insured affiliated club.

Please note that until payment has been received and acknowledged, no insurance of benefits will be put in place for you or your club.

Upon receipt of this form with payment by COBA or its Executive, our club agrees to affiliate with COBA. We also agree to meet the requirements of Badminton Ontario affiliated Clubs as outlined on the BON website. Failure to comply may result in the club’s suspension and removal of privileges.
