COBA 2024-25 Affiliation

COBA's Affiliation for this season is valid from September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025.

 

​In order to affiliate your club, please fill it out the PDF form completely and contact the COBA President.

Contact information is on top of the Affiliation Form. COBA will inform Badminton Ontario of your affiliation once we have received the completed form along with payment.​​​

​​​​​​Steps to become an affiliated club with COBA & Badminton Ontario (BON):​

1. The club affiliates with COBA & BON by completing the Affiliation Application form and contacting COBA.

2. The club submits the COBA affiliation fee of $75.00 (details for remitting funds will be arranged when contacting COBA). 

3. The club affiliates with BON in one of two ways:

• Option 1: As an insured club (general commercial liability for the club & sports accident for the individual), the club pays Badminton Ontario $7.00 per individual*, or

• Option 2: As an affiliated club without insurance coverage. This is a flat rate depending on the number of members the club has registered.

Affiliation fees for Option 2 (no BON insurance):

0-50 members = $50

51-100 members = $150

101-150 members = $250

151-200 members = $350

201-250 members = $450

251-300 members = $550

301-350 members = $650

351-400 members = $750

401-450 members = $950

451-500 members = $950

501+ members – please contact Badminton Ontario

* Individuals include athletes, coaches (volunteer or paid), trainers, administrators and managers (volunteer or paid), officials, and board members – anyone who is covered by insurance.

Individual players who wish to play in Badminton Ontario sanctioned tournaments purchase their own individual BON membership. Please see BON’s website for more details: https://www.badmintonontario.ca/membership/
